Preparing for the 2027 crossing
We’re preparing to row from Boston to London in 2027—approximately 3,250 miles across the North Atlantic.
Our target departure is late May or early June, with the exact launch date and location still to be confirmed. We expect the crossing to take around 40–50 days, depending on weather and currents. With two people rowing and two resting, we plan to keep Nimbus moving day and night.
Following the interrupted 2024 expedition, Nimbus was recovered and is now stored at Hyannis Marina. We’ll use this journal to share the work ahead: preparing the boat, training, planning, and the lessons we’re carrying into the next crossing.
We’ll also look back at Bryan’s 2012 Atlantic row—the big seas, the extraordinary wildlife, and the feeling of finishing that calls him back.
